How My Vitamin B Complex Killed the Afternoon Slump – And Why I’m Sticking With It

💊 My Vitamin B Complex & Me – How I Beat the Afternoon Slump 😴➡⚡

When I first started activating autophagy through intermittent fasting (I began with 18:6), I got one of those well-meaning warnings:
"Be careful – you might need B12!" 🧠

So I added B12 to my routine. Then B3. Just to be safe.
But – as always – I couldn’t stop there. I started reading more. Comparing. Testing.

By now, I’m on my sixth different B-complex formula.
Each brand is different. But this one? Finally ticks all the boxes.
Everything is included in solid doses – although the B6 is a bit on the high side with 86 mg (50 would be ideal), but still okay.

I take my B-complex right after my OMAD lunch, together with around 70 other supplements. And no, I’m not joking. 😄
Since then? No more afternoon crash. No yawning, no brain fog, no productivity dip.
I also take B12 separately in the morning, together with ALA – and it gets me to 100% performance mode pretty quickly.

Of course, if I forget it one day, it’s not like I collapse.
But just like caffeine, when it’s there, everything flows better.
And B3? When I (accidentally) take three capsules instead of one – I get this pleasant little niacin flush. Lasts about five minutes. Feels oddly nice. 😌

The B-complex gives me more energy, clearer thinking, and a calmer way of handling the day.
Not jittery – just better.

⚠️ Disclaimer / Warning:

While B vitamins are essential for health, always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement – especially if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or are taking medication.
High doses of certain B vitamins (like B6 or B3) may cause side effects in sensitive individuals.

This post reflects my personal experience and is not medical advice. Everyone's body is different – listen to yours. ❤️ your ERIC OMAD
